The 2009 Winter InLine Hockey League Registration form is now available on-line. Click onto the box below to go directly to our on-line registration form. The Winter Season will get underway in early January '09 and run through the middle of March '09. We will be supporting age divisions starting with the 8 and Under-Learn to Play, Youth League, 14 and Under, High School and Adult leagues. We are expecting an excellent turn-out for all age groups so don't wait, get registered today to reserve your spot. FALL 2008 LEAGUE:
ADULT LEAGUE:
The Adult League Fall championship game between Team Red (2nd Place) and Team Green (3rd Place) was held this past Tuesday, December 9th at 7:30PM. Were Team Red was crowned the season champions, Team Green did not roll over and play dead. Playing against Team Red's full roster Team Green and their mighty four players were positioning themselves for an upset. With the lead changing hands throughout the game, going into the 3rd, the game was tied and Team Green looked to be hitting their second wind. But that was when Team Red's second line took control of the game and gained a lead that Team Green just could not overcome. It was a most exciting game and everyone should be very proud of their season accomplishments.
Thanks to all who played this past season and for putting onto our floor some great inline hockey and sportsmanship. I truly hope to see each and everyone back for the up-coming Winter Season. As a reminder, pick-up starts Thursday from 7PM to 9PM and will continue throughout the holidays every Tuesday & Thursday as we ramp-up for the Winter Season. Don't forget, if you register now, these pick-up games are FREE!
HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE:
The 2008 Fall High School League held their end of season play-offs and championship games this past Wednesday evening. In the first game Team Maroon won over Team White to advance to the championship game and Team Black had to win in overtime over Team Purple to also advance to the championship game. The championship game was everything you would want in a GIRH end of season championship game. Lots of offence, defense and great competition between two deserving teams. But in the end, Team Maroon won over Team Black and was crowned the 2008 Fall High School League champs.
We would like to thank everyone who played this past season and for providing us all exciting games throughout the season.
